Mold Allergy Treatment For Severe Allergy Problems

There is a little known problem called severe mold allergy or mold poisoning. When you live in certain parts of the United States that are known to be very wet, you can have problems with mold allergies and not even know it. Those who live in warm and tropical climates are the first to see issues with black mold. Cromolyn is the only allergy medication targeted specifically at mold allergies. Cromolyn is available over the counter in a nasal mist but must be prescribed by a doctor for oral form.

When you use Cromolyn as a mold allergy treatment, you may be able to keep the mold allergy symptoms at bay. Taking Cromolyn products 7-10 days before you enter an area or situation where you know there will be mold will help in reducing your symptoms.
